The Country House comprises various houses made of stone from Castello della Pieve,
which are joined:
the rooms are on different levels and connected by old steps.

The Country House is open all year round and it offers its Guests:
  • Rooms, Superior Rooms and Suites
  • Large Sala delle Veglie and other common areas
  • ”il Girone dei Golosi” Restaurant-Pizzeria
  • Wood-burning ovens
  • Terrace with panoramic view
  • Outdoor solarium
Some of the staff speaks English and French.
 
Animals are allowed but notification of their presence must be given at the time of booking .

The Country House was recently restored preserving the outside and inside architectural features: the walls in local stone, the great fireplaces, the terracotta-tiled floors, the old beams, the ancient stone steps…

The inside renovation work and furnishings were taken care of by the Architect Lucia Gazzaneo and the other owners of the Country House ( who collect period pieces): the setting, the furniture and the details…. reveal the owners’ passion for collecting objects and instruments rich in history that show how people once lived.

Besides the antique paintings hanging on the walls, the houses boast incredible natural pictures framed by the windows; these are the same views reproduced in the paintings by Piero della Francesca, who knew these places well, near his home town of Borgo San Sepolcro. Breath-taking natural pictures with the same colours and same meandering, gentle contours of the hills that Raffaello Sanzio also painted in his paintings describing the hinterland around Urbino.
