Itineraries of artistic and cultural interest

The Country House’s favourable position, in an area that joins the Marche, Umbria and Tuscany allows you to reach small cities rich in history: the Republic of San Marino, Rimini, Fano, Urbino, Urbania, Borgo San Sepolcro, Anghiari, Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo and Siena….
Other nearby treasures waiting to be discovered include the castles of Pietrarubbia and the Counts Oliva in Piandimeleto, the majestic fortresses of San Leo, Gradara and Sassocorvaro, the Benedictine Monasteries of Fonte Avellana and Camaldoli and also places related to the spirituality of San Francesco, such as the Monastery of Monte Casale and Verna Sanctuary

You can visit world-famous picture galleries and museums (for example the Ducal Building in Urbino), and the surrounding area also offers other interesting museums in the vicinity:
the Museum of Natural Colours in Lamoli, the Coalman’s Museum in Borgopace, the Museum of Old Trades in Sant’Angelo in Vado, the Museum of the History of Agriculture and Craft in the Ducal Building in Urbania, the Graphia Museum in Urbino, the Farm Labour Museum in Piandimeleto, the Mill Museum of Ponte Vecchio in Frontino, the City Museum in Brancaleoni Castle, the open Museum:

There are also countless abbeys and churches, ranging from the most well-known ones to the lesser known ones, which are still very interesting (for example the Church “of the Mummies” in Urbania).
